Sweet-broom weed is a popular herbal medicine that grows in tropical and sub-tropical regions. It is a perennial erect herb that grows up to the height of 2-3 feet, bears stalkless serrated leaves are 3-4 X 1-1.5 cm wide with small white hairy flowers rising from the axis. The stamens are greenish and the ovary is green. The capsule is nearly round.
