Description: Medium in length, elongate, slightly stout bodied snake with a moderately long tail. Can grow to a maximum of about 1.10 metres. Head is distinct from neck. Eyes are moderately large in size with round pupils. Dorsal scales are distinctly but weakly keeled (outer 1 to 4 dorsal scale rows are smooth) with apical pits.
