Of all the varieties of snakes the most poisonous one is Cobra. It’s scientific name is Naja Naja Naja. The venom of cobra attacks the nerves of the human body. The poison of the Cobra is Neuro toxic. Muscles of the body of the victim will lose its power for movement and the eyes become still and the patient will also find it difficult to keep his eyes open. Accumulation of the sputum in the throat results in difficulty to speak and foam start appearing in the mouth. Pain will be felt in the bitten area accompanied by vomiting. It is observed that the death of the patient may occur with vomiting. Paralysing of the neck and breathlessness is also seen which will result in the slow death of the patient.
The symptoms of the cobra appear after 15 minutes to 3 hours of the bite. There are many cases where the death of the patient has been reported after 1.15 hrs of the bite. The treatment for the bite of the Cobra may last for two weeks.
